Are you itching to add some new color and vibrancy to your home… but preferably without the work or cost of painting? We know the feeling. That’s why our talented home designers have come up with alternative ways of adding pigmentation to your living room, dining room, bedroom, and more!
Brightly colored furniture
There’s no rule that says that furniture should be neutral. A bright accent color can look fabulous on a sectional, plus chairs are perfect for coordinating patterns in your living room or study. If your walls are all white, colorful furniture will pop dramatically and create a wonderfully colorful room that accessories alone won’t be able to pull off.
Large, colorful textiles
Another great way to add color and pattern to a room is by incorporating large pieces of colorful material. Area rugs, drapes, blankets, pillows, and tapestries are all welcome additions to bland room. Choose a color scheme and stick to it to create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Paint things other than the walls
You can avoid committing to a wall color or interior painter by instead choosing to paint a few objects yourself! You can give inexpensive frames a DIY upgrade by spray painting them in different colors. Just one frame by itself might not make much of an impact but if you create an art gallery with colorful frames and photos of or family or travels you’ll be amazed at the difference!
